Speaking before grand FINALE of the 2023 Know Your Tax Quiz for the student from higher learning institutions ,where Lusaka UNZA ZICA beat Copperbelt university on Friday night 22nd March 2024 at Taj Pamodzi hotel ,Mr. Banda said their target is enhancing knowledge to the youth . “our aim is to raise awareness on tax matters ,our target is the youth since they are the future leaders ,we want to plant a seed of tax voluntary tax compliance and want them to continue preaching tax obedience in future,”Banda explained. The ZRA Commissioner General told the audience during the final of tax quiz which was beamed live on Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation ZNBC television that in line with the 2024 youth corporate strategic plan tax is the primary source of students bursary ,free education, and building health institutions as well as road infrastructure. In an effort to plant a seed of ZRA have opened up E-learning programs and launched a call center with a toll free line . The winners have been offered 6 months paid internship of ZRA and other opportunities will open up as they pursue their degree level .
