Emulate Tasila Lungu-Mwansa, rehabilitate Felelimo Sports Grounds, prays Maxwell Kangwa

Iwisa Football Club Secretary Maxwell Kangwa is urging
President Hakainde Sammy Hichilema to upgrade Felelimo Sports facility in
Ngombe compound in Lusaka’s Munali Constituency, a community pitch used for
football, netball and a child academy with potential as a recreational and vocational
skill building among young people and adults.
Currently working under FUNGI Businesses Solution (FBS) director
Kashiba Chinyanta, Kangwa says apart from sports the sports facility once
developed has capacity to host non-sports events, church crusades evident by an
upcoming spiritual gathering featuring Reverend Daniel Dou Tiot from the United
States of America (USA) on Saturday, 27th August, 2022.
An optimistic Kangwa recollected that upon being elected as Kuku
ward 10 Councillor in Chawama Constituency, Ms. Lungu-Mwansa in Lusaka and then
Member of Parliament (MP) Lawrence Sichalwe improved a sports ground standards
by putting up an artificial turf, worth emulating.
Though, Iwisa Football Club was recently relegated to division 4 of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) league, Kangwa an entrepreneur selling mobile phone accessories said putting up an artificial turf is beyond their income capacity and equally expensive to maintain once installed.
“President Hichilema must compel Sport, Youth and Arts Minister Elvis Nkandu to swiftly intervene and emulate the pace setting daughter of former Patriotic Front (PF) President Edgar Chagwa Lungu, Tasila Lungu-Mwansa and her team,” Kangwa played.
