ZAMBEEF Typical Example of Growth Beyond the Farm ,Braggs Dr. Mmatlou Kalaba

  Bureau for Food and Agriculture Policy (BFAP)Dr,Mmatlou Kalaba has commended ZAMBEEF a Zambian agriculture company for being a typical example of growth beyond the farm rising in production in the region besides  the  fast foods and butcheries ,leather products like shoes are developing further in factories.

Speaking during the launch of the Policy and Investment Prioritization Through Value Chain Analysis (PPVC ) Program supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation(BMGF) ,IAPRI,ANAPRI, and AGRA  on 20th March 2024 at Taj Pamodz hotel Lusaka, he said one of the challenging tasks that the government routinely face is deciding which policies and investments are needed to achieve development objectives.

“private sector exist since their objective is to make more profits in ant  given economy , I have observed ZAMBEEF and am impressed ,it is the pride of Africa it is the typical example of growth beyond the farming area ,rising in products in the region apart from the fast foods and butcheries dotted around the nation ,leather products have been further in manufacturing shoes,”Dr.Kalaba  bragged.

The South African Agriculture Economist was quick to point that across Africa ,ministries of agriculture are compiling investment plans that identify key value chains for driving inclusive agriculture transformation.

Dr.Kalaba added that the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation (BMGF)in conjunction with  the International  Bureau for Food and Agriculture Policy 9BFAP) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)   which will be an implementation approach requiring collaborative partnerships between national think- tanks and alliances for a green revolution in Africa over the next 4(four)years.
