Take Reasonability of your Spiritual Life , Elder Chadambuka
By Ashton Bunda
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) president of Botswana / Nambia mission elder Dunstan G.T.B. Chadambuka says many people consider repentance and the process that goes with it as punishment.
Speaking during
the annual general conference at the Lusaka Stake on Sunday 3rd
March 2024 ,elder Chadambuka told
congregants that just as physical food stuffs ,spiritual life needs nourishment in terms of
prayer, fasting and reading the book of Mormon .
The president
for Botswana /Namibia mission who was
flanked by Lusaka stake president Blessings Mushala and the first counselor
Phil Mwamba Kapema quoted the book of Mosiah and said for the natural man is an
enemy of God ,and has been from the fall of Adam ,and will forever and ever
,unless he yields to the enticings of
the holy spirit ,and putteth off the natural man and become a saint
through the atonement of Christ the lord and as submissive as child .
He said the
physical wellbeing in terms body exercising of an individual is equally
important as endurance leads to resisting
temptations.
Elder
Chadambuka advised members of the church to to develop a culture of seeking time and quite place to ponder and meditate on
the word of God just as would Joseph
Smith the founder the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints .
