Church Can Help Non Members ,Bishop Simbeya

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) Libala ward Bishop Michael Simbeya says  callings and leadership positions from church has given members his of the  congregation an opportunity to practice what they preach by providing service to the community.



Bishop Simbeya  overjoyed after  Mr.Goerge  Matale a 90 years retired politician of old  Chilenje in Lusaka appreciated following the painting of the whole house and creating vegetable garden  under the auspices of the’ Mormon Helping Hands’ on Saturday 18th November 2023..

The Libala ward Bishop said according to the book of Mormon ,Mosiah chapter 18v 27 to 29 God gives members through leadership opportunities to serve and lead ,the church provides structures to help care for members in need and to give humanitarian relief to others.

“ we where privileged to be allowed by the family of a friend somewhere in Chilenje and offer service ,our friend a non member identified needs in the elderly man’s house and communicated buy paints and other cleaning materials,” Bishop Simbeya explained .

Bishop Simbeya commended elders quorum presidency led by brother Kabisa Mukelabia  and brother Moonga and the missionaries for their patience , hard work to  and putting their shoulder to the wheel for God’s kingdom.
