A chat with seven (7) Zambian parents on the material day, resulted in the first

centrally located and land- Linked must take advantage and build the ‘The Zambia Victoria Falls Tennis Open

recereational jobs and earn foreign exchange, a missed opportunity in the past
60 years.
“The government should grab this opportunity with both hands,
the beautiful Heroes stadium in Lusaka and the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola were
built by the Patriotic Front (PF) administration. We have the Victoria falls,
one the seven (7) wonders of the world, and many people around the world wish
to see it. We are very fortunate here you see, other nations don’t have, if the
international tennis court is built there, we will have the whole world here, including
international media,” a female parent who declined to be named explained.
At 59 years Zambia has come of age to host international tennis tournaments that would market Zambia’s Livingstone tourist city as well as bringing in foreign currency and provide permanents jobs for the local people.
