Keep the promise  Improve Zambia Living  Standards ,Danny Pule

Christian Democratic Party (CDP)president  Reverend Danny Pule has implored the republican president Hakainde Hichilema to  live up to his campaign promises  of reducing the price of staple food Mealie Meal ,expanding  the agriculture system and cushion Zambians against rising fuel prices.

Speaking during the media briefing at the Trinity Dunamis church in Lusaka on 12th September 2023 Reverend Pule lamented that since the UPND government started ruling on 12 august 2021 the nation has experienced unbearable  high cost of living than ever before .

“despite the promises which Mr.Hakainde Hichilema has made while in the opposition to improve the living standards of the Zambians ,the cost of living for ordinary people Zambian has become so unbearable that many Zambians can hardly afford a meal,”Pule stressed.

The Christian Democratic Party leader whose slogan is “For a Better and Prosperous Zambia” has called upon the government to re-introduce subsidies on mealie  meal  and fuel to cushion the cost of living for which has become worse under leadership of Hakainde Hichilema administration .


The clergy man has urged president Hakainde Hichilema to  focus on uniting the nation and stop attacks on predecessor president Edgar Chagwa Lungu and   former first lady Mrs. Esther Lungu and channel all his efforts towards reducing the cost of living for Zambians,
