Church Giving Back to  Community ,Brother Leon Shambana

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Lusaka stake Second Councilor Leon Shambana says   the  church believes in the admonition of Christ of not allowing the right hand see what the left has done or given, but   realized they have to keep records  as  a way  of train up children in the church so that they don’t depart  from  it in future

 .`



Speaking during Mormon Helping hands project  of painting the female  ward 2 at the  cancer hospital  at UTH in Lusaka on 24th June 2023  Shambana said the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day  Saints strives to be servants to the community where members of their church come from as written in Ephesians  chapter 6 verse 5 servants to be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh ,with fear and trembling .

And quoted the Mosiah chapter 2 verse  19  in the book of Mormon where king Benjamin counsels serve the heavenly  king as he recounts equity and fairness ,behold if I whom has spent his days in your service ,and yet has been The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints second Councilor Leon Shambana  says the church believe in the service of God ,do merit any thanks from you ,O how you ought to thank your heavenly king, he quoted in  part 

.


“we believe in the admonition of the Christ of not allowing the right hand see what the left is doing or giving , but we are compelled to bring some things to light as of training up a children in the way they should grow so that they do not depart from it,”Shambana stressed.

The Mormon helping hands was drawn from the fulltime missionaries, Relief Societies, Matero ward , Lilanda ward ,and Libala ward
